Boko Haram Kidnapped Wife Of Nigerian Player Fegor Ogude

Fegor Ogude wife has been kidnapped by the terrorists of Boko Haram while visiting her home.

The incident happened in the city of Warri, which is located in southern Nigeria as the kidnappers attacked the wife of the footballer just next to their house. Maimunat Ogude was with their children and was planning to go for a walk with them. The kidnappers did not touch the children as the unidentified attackers pushed the woman into a car and then drove away in an unknown direction.

Fegor Ogude who plays for the football club Amkar Perm in the Russian Premier League was absent from home at that moment and found out about the tragic event from his brother. Fegor Fegor said “I immediately contacted the police. I was trying to find out more about these men, but have not succeeded”. Local police confirmed that they found the car Fegor's wife was in some 30 km (18.6 miles) away from Warri. Since the earlier report, there has been no further information about Maimunat and the kidnappers have not got in touch with Fegor.

The families of Fegor were visiting their country of origin during the long Russian winter holidays, during which there is also a break in the football season. Understanding his situation, the club's administration did not raise any questions about Fegor's participation in upcoming training sessions
