The West Africa Bloggers Conference 2016 has come and gone with all it's glitz and glamour, the 2-day power-packed event for Bloggers, Blogger 'wanna-bes' and Digital Marketing individuals was held on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd of January 2016 at Banquet Hall, Berkeley Hotel GRA Ikeja.
Speakers at the event include: the convener Mr Ayodele Oyebade, Stephen Akintayo of Gtext Group, Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade from Google, Mr Bayo owolabi and a host of others.

The event, which was sponsored by MTN Nigeria, Google, Spectranet NG, Advert Stiker.Com, Spaneck.Com, Fidson, TripleAoutdoor and a host of other leading brands, gave young and vibrant Bloggers the opportunity to learn, ask specific questions, get answers and interact with each other.

Bloggers at the event were enlightened on Search Engine Optimization, Niche Blogging and its advantages, Formulating a Business Plan and Financial Plan for a blogging business, the qualities and a good blogger, Branding, the secrets of creating high converting money-generating sales funnel and Blog Monetization, Ways to make money with a blog (Google Adsense and other means) amongst other eye-opening secrets in the Blogosphere.

The event, for the two days, started in the morning and lasted till past 6pm with launch breaks in-between, giving the participants a hand-full of interactive sessions and enough time to address issues brought forward by each participant on Blogging and other topics discussed.

MTN, the leading telecommunications brand in Nigeria also gave goodie bags to all participants, special gifts to outstanding participants who tweeted about the moments of the event and above all register & perform SIM update services FREELY to participants who had been disconnected from the network as directed by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
