Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Reviews

It Friday my beautiful people and we are back to serve you with the fresh and hottest music review in town right here on Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Reviews. Remember, we have extended our rating beyond Nigeria as we have included other African artiste in as much as they have been able to win the hearts of Nigerians.

So with that being said, let's get down to the rating;

1.      Vector Prey: I am not trying to start any rumour but I hear that this song is more of a warning to Ycee whom at one point, January to be precise, allegedly dissed Vector. Vector showed how creative a rapper should be and how creative he can be as he turned Darey Pray For Me around. This is not the typical day to day rap song but this is a good rap song in all ramifications and I rate this song 8/10.

2.      Ice Prince- No Mind Dem: Ice Prince decides to go all soft on us as he serves us with this love tune and I must say it wasn't bad. I guess this song is Ice Prince's way of addressing the issue of his love affair that has been in the media for awhile now, he is simply telling the girl just how much he cares for her and nothing that haters would say can change that. Like I said it is a cool song and I rate it 7/10.

3.      Terry G- Shayo: In as much as I like Terry G and I respect his talent but I guess he should understand that we are tired of hearing songs like this. Oga Terry please the days where you were still testing microphone are over, try give us something original not this. I rate this song 4/10 and this is just because of the beat.

4.      Faze ft Iyanya- Wette: Like I said this year is the year of returns and the latest artiste that is making his return is the talented and former Plantainshun boiz member Faze. The song was produced by DJ Coublon who is fast becoming a household name and the song also features Iyanya. Not really the kind of comeback song I was expecting from Faze but not a bad song either and Iyanya once again impressed me on this one. I rate the song 7/10.

5.      Orezi- Sweet Yarinya: Okay I have to say this I still find it difficult to believe this is Orezi. I mean this very different from the Orezi kind of music we are use to and I must say I am impress, he was able to hold his own though I think featuring someone like Wande Coal or Banky W would have helped the song better notwithstanding this is not a bad song. I rate it 7/10.

6.      Young John- Gbagbe: It's Young John the wicked producer not just on the beat but this time around also on the 'sing'. I never thought Young John could sing like this though I am not that surprised, looking at all the hit songs he has produced I wasn't expecting less. This is definitely not a hit song but it is decent enough to have a 7/10.

7.      Yung6ix ft Mr Eazi- Bankulize (Refix): First of all, all praise must go to Mr. Eazi for this lovely song, as a matter of fact I became your fan after listening to this song, brilliant I repeat brilliant song. As expected Yung6ix didn't dull the song at all as he also laid down some cool verse on it.  I rate this song 8/10.

8.      Simi-Love Don't Care: Chai Simi is really bursting my brain, now this is what I call a perfect song. From the lyrics to the arrangement down to the production everything was perfectly created and what about her vocals? Gosh I feel like this song was made in the heavens. I rate this song 9/10.

9.      Sojay- F*ck You: This song once again shows how good Sojay is and I must say I am impress with the song. Lyrics was on point, vocals very strong and production not bad though I would advice if Sojay want to get the best of songs like this he should work with people like Maleek Berry, Cohbams, Teeymix and Dr, Frabz. I rate this song 7/10

10.  Kcee- Bureau De Change: The only thing I like about this song is the beat and production and that credit goes to Dr. Amir after that really nothing else. Don't get me wrong the lyrics make sense a little at least it was meaningful to a point and the beat is danceable which is why most people would like it. I rate the song 6/10.

11.  Aramide ft Adekunle Gold- Love Me: Okay I think this is the first time we are seeing Adekunle Gold being featured by another artistes and trust me it's worth it. With a very good video this song would go far. The production and the beat is superb and the lyrics wasn't bad either and the vocals of Adekunle Gold made everything much more better. I rate this song 8/10.
