Damon Wayans Is Starring In Lethal Weapon Remake

Fox has ordered its Lethal Weapon TV remake to pilot with Damon Wayans as the new Roger Murtaugh. The pilot, a one-hour drama, hails from executive producers Matt Miller, Dan Lin, Jennifer Gwartz and McG.

Fox's Lethal Weapon follows Texas cop and former Navy SEAL Martin Rigg moving to Los Angeles after the loss of his wife and baby. In LA, he's partnered with Roger Murtaugh (Wayans), who is recovering from a "minor" heart attack and is supposed to avoid any stress in his life. If you've seen the films you know he's in for some stress.
