Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi has become the latest
player to agree a move to Chinese football as Hebei China Fortune says that the Argentine forward has agreed a
two-year deal to play at the Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center Stadium.
Hebei have already recruited two former Premier League players in this
transfer window in former Arsenal forward Gervinho
and ex-Chelsea winger Gael Kakuta. Lavezzi
has been with PSG for the last three-and-a-half seasons following a £23m move
from Napoli in the summer of 2012. Hebei
have described him as the next Maradona
on social media ahead of the first round of Super League fixtures on March 4.
Ramires, Jackson Martinez, Alex
Teixeira and Fredy Guarin have
also moved to China.
