Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be
sidelined for up to two months because of a knee injury. The England
international has been struggling with a knee problem after a challenge with Javier Mascherano in the Gunners' 2-0
defeat at home to Barcelona on
February 23.
Arsene Wenger admitted ahead of
the Super Sunday defeat at Manchester
United that the injury was more of a concern than initially realized and on
Tuesday, speaking ahead of Wednesday's home clash with Swansea, Wenger revealed the latest medical update on the 22years
old.
Wenger said “Six to eight weeks out no
surgery. We did fear surgery at some stage when you saw the MRI but in the end,
on that front, we got positive news”.
