Swansea Head Coach Francesco Guidolin Released From Hospital

Swansea head coach Francesco Guidolin has been released from a London hospital following a chest infection. Guidolin was forced to miss both last Wednesday's win at Arsenal and Saturday's victory at home to Norwich with the illness.

The 60years old had been struggling for over a week and was admitted to a respiratory specialist in London after travelling with the team ahead of their clash with the Gunners. the club announced on Twitter “Francesco Guidolin has been released from hospital after making a good recovery and will resume duties this week”.

Assistant manager Alan Curtis took charge of the side in his absence and secured a shock 2-1 win at the Emirates before winning 1-0 over fellow relegation strugglers Norwich at the Liberty Stadium.
