Swansea head coach Francesco Guidolin has been released
from a London hospital following a chest infection. Guidolin was forced to miss
both last Wednesday's win at Arsenal
and Saturday's victory at home to Norwich
with the illness.
The 60years old had been struggling for over a week and was admitted to a
respiratory specialist in London after travelling with the team ahead of their
clash with the Gunners. the club announced on Twitter “Francesco Guidolin has been released from hospital after making a good
recovery and will resume duties this week”.
Assistant manager Alan Curtis
took charge of the side in his absence and secured a shock 2-1 win at the
Emirates before winning 1-0 over fellow relegation strugglers Norwich at the
Liberty Stadium.
