Ikorodu United Will Leave Lokoja With Nothing- Adeshina

Ikorodu United continuous search for a point on the road will continue this weekend when they visit Lokoja in a week 12 NPFL tie against Niger Tornadoes and Tornadoes' defender,  Lateef Adeshina has insisted that Ikorodu United will leave Lokojo empty-handed when the two clash on Sunday.

Abdullahi Biffo's side are just a step ahead of the relegation zone with 11 points from 11 matches,  while Ikorodu United have picked up just six points from 11 games and lead the table from the base of the log.

He said “We lost on the road last weekend but I'm confident that we shall get back to winning ways this weekend.  Ikorodu United have not enjoy a good period in the NPFL. They've been struggling most especially on the road. We aren't taking any match for granted but I'm very confident that Ikorodu United will leave Lokoja empty handed. The requirement to play good football is to have a team that can offer such and a good playing turf which we do have in our team and at the Confluence Stadium here in Lokoja so playing away from home isn't an excuse not to deliver”.
