Samir Nasri Says PSG Would Find It Tough On A Monday Night In Stoke

Samir Nasri believes Paris Saint-Germain would struggle to make their mark in the Premier League despite their runaway title success in France. PSG have already retained the Ligue 1 title and are 25 points clear of second-placed Monaco as they prepare to host Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.

City midfielder Nasri insists they cannot be compared with Barcelona and would find the going tough in England when facing the likes of Stoke and West Ham. The Frenchman told L'Equipe: “It's true they have a big team, but I do not think they are above the others in England. There are no easy games in England, not one. I'd like to see Paris play a Monday night at Stoke, West Ham or at the Emirates against Arsenal. Today, the big four is no more. There are six or seven teams who can be champions. It's harder. But this is Paris, not Barca

Nasri returned to action after five months out as a second-half substitute in Saturday's 4-0 win at Bournemouth, but City still have a number of injury problems as they head to France. Captain Vincent Kompany remains absent, while Joe Hart is battling to be fit and Kevin De Bruyne is not guaranteed to start after also making his comeback against the Cherries.
