Antonio Conte Can Be A Success At Chelsea

Carlo Ancelotti has tipped his ex-Juventus player, Antonio Conte to succeed in England with Chelsea, with the Italy manager preparing to begin his tenure next season. Conte, who took charge of Juve after 13 years as a player, won three successive Serie A titles from 2012 to 2014 before becoming boss of the Azzurri and Ancelotti, who won the Premier League and FA Cup during the first of two seasons in west London from 2009-2011, is confident that his 46-year-old former charge can do likewise.

Ancelotti said “Conte is a hard worker: really serious, really professional and always focused on his job.  Chelsea are getting a top manager who will look at all the little details,' the new Bayern Munich manager added. Coming to England from Italy, he will find a different world: less pressure, no violence, a great atmosphere, full stadiums – just totally different from Italy at this moment. He can definitely be a success at Chelsea”.

The Blues have developed an affinity for Italian managers over the past 18 years with Gianluca Vialli, Claudio Ranieri, Roberto Di Matteo and Ancelotti.
