Conte Want Transfer Business A Secret

Antonio Conte refused to confirm reports of a Chelsea bid for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, saying he prefers to keep transfer business a secret. The Chelsea head coach recorded his first win in charge of the Blues when his side beat RZ Pellets WAC 3-0 in Austria on Wednesday.

British newspapers have linked Conte with a move for Morata, who re-joined Real from Juventus earlier this month, as the Italian looks to bolster his squad ahead of the new Premier League season. Speaking after the victory over RZ Pellets WAC, he remained tight-lipped when asked about his interest in the Spain international.

He said “About this situation I always prefer to speak with the club, we know our targets and the most important thing is there is a great synergy between me and the club on the transfer market. It's not important to speak outside, but to keep the secret is very important at this moment.”
