Nollywood
actress, Fathia Balogun Williams has had another feather added to her cap as
she has been named as one of 100 most influential Deltans.
A 47-year-old
Delta native who speaks many languages, Fathia has starred, produced and
directed several successful movies in the industry.
She was
recently recognised at the 2015 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA)
where she won an award for the Best Indigenous Language: Yoruba, for her film, Iya
Alalake.
An excited Fathia thanked her fans for their support, writing, ‘To all
my fans all over the world .I say thank u and God bless you..pls don’t stop
your love and prayer for me…love u Fam.’
Fathia who
recently shaved her hair for a movie role, has also won an Africa Movie
Academy Award (AMAA), emerging as 2014’s best actress of the year.
