Goldie, OJB and Ayinde Barrister to be honoured in London

An award ceremony in honour of distinguished Nigerians will hold on August 27, 2016 at Best Western Hotel, Hendon way, London.

At the event, Posthumous Awards will be presented to the families of three late musicians who did well for Nigerian Music: Dr Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, OJB Jezreel andGoldie Harvey. The event is holding in London for the first time.

Founder of the Podium Recognition Awards, Titi Aboyade Cole says ‘the wives of the Governors of Ogun and Oyo States are to be honoured with Special Awards, Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, a female politician and Commissioner for Women Affairs in Ondo State, Olasinmi Odunmbaku will be honoured too‘.

Comedian Gbenga Adeyinka and London-based Daizy Ajisefini will host the event.
