JayZ and Beyoncé are highest-earning celebrity couple according to Forbes 2016

Forbes just published their annual Celebrity 100 list, and while Taylor Swift is sitting comfortably in the number-one spot, there’s another story to be told the massive combined wealth of power couple Beyoncé and Jay Z. Together, they’re the highest-paid celebrity couple.

Jay sits at number 36 on the Forbes list, having raked in some $53 million this year from his own projects: Armand de Brignac champagne, D’Ussé cognac, and his own entertainment company, Roc Nation.

The real story here, though, is Beyoncé’s big year. She’s number 34 on the list, having amassed $54 million from playing 19 shows during Forbes scoring period (Jay Z played two). She also dropped her sixth number-one album Lemonade on the Billboard Hot 100.
