King Arthur: Legend of the Sword ( Trailer )

Guy Ritchie is looking to launch a very different sort of franchise with the fun looking King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword. The first trailer was revealed at Comic-Con today, and it definitely looks like Ritchie will be bringing his trademark style to the movie which has been envisioned as being the first chapter in a series which could run for as many as six instalments as it delves into the story of King Arthur like never before.

In King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword, when the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern, Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy, like it or not!

long with Charlie Hunnam, the cast also includes Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Jude Law, Eric Bana, and Djimon Honsou, and King Arthur: Legends of the Sword is currently set to be released on February 17th, 2017.
