Primed to introduce the biggest version of King Kong ever seen on screen, director Jordan Vogt-Roberts has been drumming up excitement for his 2017 creature feature, revealing that Skull Island will be unleashed onto a timeline of its own that allows the team to break away from the classic story of beauty and beast.
In rebooting the dormant property, Warner has Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson as the primary leads, who will be flanked by a cast that comprises Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, John C. Reilly, Tian Jing, Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton), Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Thomas Mann, Shea Whigham, Toby Kebbell and Eugene Cordero.
Kong: Skull Island is slated for release on March 10, 2017.
