xXx: RETURN OF XANDER CAGE - Official Trailer

Paramount has premiered the bat-shit insane new trailer for xXx 3 that heralds The Return of Xander Cage, Vin Diesel’s musclebound adrenaline junkie that clearly hasn’t lost his edges in the intervening years since the cult actioner of 2002.

Tethered with a January release date and a fairly generic, run-of-the-mill trailer, it’s difficult to muster any excitement for xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, and that’s even factoring in the callbacks to Diesel’s breakout as the rogue agent. The Return of Xander Cage boasts a cast that encompasses Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, Toni Collette, the returning Samuel L. Jackson, Tony Jaa, Conor McGregor, Nina Dobrev and Andrey Ivchenko as the film’s big bad.

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage will unleash Vin Diesel’s maniac stuntman when D.J. Caruso’s threequel makes a beeline for theaters on January 20, 2017.
