Parminder Nagra Joins Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.

 

Though many figured The Inhumans might take a backseat in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. following the events of seasons 3, we were recently assured that wasn’t going to be the case at all and reinforcing that is the latest season 4 character addition.

IGN reports that Parminder Nagra has joined the cast of Marvel’s flagship TV series as a powerful political figure who is outspoken in her distrust of Inhumans and the threat they pose to society. After all the Hive stuff in season 3, it does make sense that the government would be even more twitchy about the Terrigen Mist-afflicted folk, and it looks like this still unnamed new character will be leading the charge.

Nagra will make her debut in the third episode, and joins fellow season 4 newcomers Lilli Birdsell, Jason O’Mara as the new Director and Gabriel Luna as Ghost Rider. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns for its fourth season on Tuesday, September 20^th.
