#AHMusicReview: Absolute Hearts Music Review

Welcome to another fresh episode of #AHMusicReview #Absolute Hearts Music Review and like we normally do we serve you with the best of not just new music but also we criticize, analyse and rate those particular sets of new songs.
Remember you can also listen to the live broadcast of this program BCP Radio every Friday 2-3pm via www.blackcarpetproduction.com  Without any further ado here are the songs we have for this week;

1.      Mr. Eazi - Rotate Sketch: Ghanaian rave of the moment returns with another dope song titled Rotate Skecth. As expected Mr. Eazi gave us a beautiful tune as he laced his voice on a smooth melodious instrumentals. At this point I have to say this, though it might just be me but I feel Mr. Eazi is like Ghanaian Adekunle Gold. The rating would be 7/10.

2.      Blackmagic ft Seyi Shay - Like This: Blackmagic always comes through every time he drops a new song and as expected he killed it on this track. He had Seyi Shay on this track and together they gave a very decent tune with a rating would 7/10.

3.      Dr Sid ft Korede Bello - Flawless: The Mavin team returns but this time it is the tune of Dr. Sid we are dancing to and I must say I am impressed. The last time Dr. Sid impressed me was Kabiyesi and with Flawless he has done it again though I didn’t really feel the impact of Korede Bello. The song is a decent tune with super production and the rating would be 7/10.

4.      Omo Akin - Twerk For Me (Ewodi): Omo Akin isn’t that regular artiste that drops songs every now and then but when he does there are two things you should expect; dope production and catchy hooks and that's what this song has. Decent tune from Omo Akin and the rating would be 8/10.

5.      K9 - Party Bs: This happened in a very long while, to be honest this is the second time I would listen to a song and I won’t know how to review or even have an idea what to rate the song. This is a very different song and I would just let you guys be the judge.

6.      P.R.E Ft Burna Boy - Wonleto: This is one collaboration I have been looking out for and I must say I was excited when I saw it but wasn’t satisfied with it, don’t get me wrong, this is a good song but really not what I was expecting and to be honest this song would need a good video to go far. The rating would be 6/10.

7.      Ms Chief - Shileku: Ok let me say this, if you don’t have any of Ms Chief's songs on your playlist I am sorry but your playlist isn’t complete. This is one girl I have followed and I must say she hasn’t disappointed and this song proves that. Decent chorus, lovely beat and dope production and the rating would 8/10.

8.      Korede Bello - Do Like That: Now this is the Korede Bello I was expecting on the Dr. Sid track, he did perfectly well on this Altims super produced track. After his playful track One and Only he returned with a more serious track and I would say he killed it as the rating would be 8/10.

9.      L.A.X - Awon Da (Rasaki): L.A.X decided to take us to the street with this track, I guess he wanted to show us the street side of him and I must say he did well with the song and of course the beat also helped. The rating would be 7/10.

10.  Sean Tizzle ft Troy Lanez- Hit N Run: This isn't the normal type of Sean Tizzle song but it's a song that was properly done. The song sounded like a song done by a foreign artiste, cool beat, nice lyrics, The rating is 7/10

11.  9ice: After doing brilliantly on the track with Ruggedman, 9ice returns with two tracks of his own, one of them was produced by ID Cabasa.
Economy: Produced by DJ Coublon, this song is done to remind us to of the economic crisis the country is facing and also to urge Nigerians to be joyful and happy despite the crisis instead of getting mad, frustrated or even depressed. Economy isn't a bad track, I'm only happy 9ice has now found a way to use his 'already bad voice' well, you need to listen to Economy and you will agree with me that 9ice' vocals is now better. the rating is 7/10.

Olorunsogo: Is it just me or has 9ice really improved in his vocals? The 9ice we knew after the Gongo Aso album had a voice that sounded like one who either has hot water in his mouth or that of someone whose voice has suffered from high consumption weed that you hardly hear what he is saying. Well, I'm glad he is back in the music scene and ready to take his place. Olorunsogo is a track done to praise God and no artiste gets it wrong with songs like this. Olorunsogo was produced by the legendary ID Cabasa and the rating is 7/10

12. Psquare - Bank Alert: First, let's thank God that all now seems to be well with the pop duo. Bank Alert is a regular groovy kind of love song. The production was top notch and the vocals was also on point. The rating is 8/10 and if you've missed Psquare so much and care to listen to their first song together after a long time, you can download Bank Alert here
