After wins against Watford and Southampton, they eased to victory against Hull on Saturday thanks to two goals from Alexis Sanchez and one each from Theo Walcott and Granit Xhaka. He said “We are a bit more mature but it's early in the season. Let's just continue to improve and win our games and see where that will go. We are ambitious and have a good attitude and spirit. We have gained a bit of confidence from winning a few games. We responded well to our first disappointment and hopefully we can build from that.”
With Jake Livermore sent off late in the first half for deliberate handball, Arsenal looked to be cruising after Walcott made it 2-0. Wenger admitted he was nervous when Robert Snodgrass halved the deficit with 11 minutes remaining.
