Without question, the one tidbit that will pique the curiosity of comic book fans involves Justice League, which Adams claimed is shaping up to be a totally different film to Zack Snyder’s widely derided Dawn of Justice.
Pigeonholed early on for its messy plot structure and pacing problems, Zack Snyder’s monolithic tentpole seemed to be fighting a losing battle as soon as the review embargo lifted, and here Amy Adams expressed some sympathy for the filmmaker, noting that: “I just felt for Zack. Zack’s like the nicest person ever, and to see him kind of talked about like that was really hard for me, because he’s really such a respectful director.”
Justice League, emerging from something of a creative overhaul at Warner Bros., is booked in to arrive in theaters as a sole blockbuster on November 17, 2017.
