Watch New Doctor Strange Synopsis

 

Doctor Strange is now less than two months away yet  it’s surprising how little we still know about the next Marvel Studios movie. While it’s true that the marketing campaign has yet to really kick off, the studio appears to have been very careful when it comes to revealing too much about the plot.

That’s obviously not a bad thing, and though we already know that the film will be an origin story for the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange hasn’t taken things in the direction fans expected it to from the very start. The vast majority of people expected to see the hero pitted against Dormammu and Baron Mordo, but there’s no sign of the former so far and the latter will actually be his ally in the fight against Kaecilius.

A new synopsis has now been released which sheds some more light on what we should expect from Doctor Strange: “From Marvel comes DOCTOR STRANGE, the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place — a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange — armed with newly acquired magical powers — is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.”
