Another Teaser For War For The Planet Of The Apes

 

A new teaser for War For The Planet Of The Apes, Organically building in menace and a sense of desperation, the brief snippet graciously and gradually reveals the iconic visage of Caesar. Though he is silent in appearance, the beautifully rendered imagery is overlaid with the character’s creepy dialogue from his previous franchise appearance.

“In War for the Planet of the Apes, the third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. With Andy Serkis reprising his role as Caesar, War For The Planet Of The Apes also stars Judy Greer, Woody Harrelson, and Steve Zahn, among others, while writer-director Matt Reeves also returns to direct. The script is co-written by Mark Bomback and, if the stunning artistry of this teaser trailer is anything to go by, audiences are in for something very special when the film is released in July 2017.
