
Midfielder John Ogu is one of the five new players
called up to the Super Eagles squad to face Algeria in a Russia 2018 World Cup
qualifier next month in Uyo. Though the official squad list is yet to be
released, it was also gathered that Oghenekaro
Etebo will also make a return to the team after having been certified fit
by his top flight Portuguese club Feirense.
Ogu last
featured for the senior national team against Chad last year and is one of the
five new players coach Gernot Rohr
invited for the crucial game against the Fennecs of Algeria.
