Niger Tornadoes Sack 11 Players

 

Nigeria Professional Football League club Niger Tornadoes have dropped 11 players and retained 19 from the squad that participated in the 2015/ 2016 season. The Minna-based side, Completesportsnigeria.com learnt, have also placed eight players on  standby.

The 11 players who were dropped due to poor performances will be replaced by 11 new ones. Tornadoes finished in the 12th position in the NPFL table last season after they were initially involved in the relegation battle.

The Abubakar Bala-led side are expected to begin pre-season exercise for the new campaign later this month.
