Two men were arrested on suspicion of affray and the third was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer. All three currently remain in custody pending further enquires.

During the match, officers were also deployed inside the stadium following a separate disturbance; the matter was quickly dealt with and no arrests were made. There were no reported injuries following the disturbances and enquiries continue.

Stewards confirmed that police had to separate home and away supporters after clashes on the loop road through the Olympic Park.
