Watford manager, Walter Mazzari, has stated that Nigeria forward, Isaac Success, still has a lot to learn to become a complete
player. Success made his first start for Watford in their 1-0 away win
against Middlesbrough over the
weekend.
Despite
winning the man-of-the-match award, Mazzari admits Success was less effective
in his first start for Watford compared to his contributions from off the
bench, but expects the attacker to improve with time.
He said “He played
well, as did the whole team, but he did much better in the other games when he
came on from the bench, It’s not easy to start a game. It’s completely
different, but if he gets his full condition then he also needs to learn some
things and he will be a great player”
Since
joining the Hornets' from Granada in
the summer in a club record move, Success has scored just one goal which was in
a 2-2 home draw against Bournemouth.
