See King Sunny Ade's guitar that was auctioned for N52.1m

As juju legend King Sunny Ade marked his 70th birthday with a concert, he broke all records again when his guitar was sold at auction for N52.1m.

It was made by international brand Fender and designed by Nigerian artist Victor Ehikhamenor, the glittering piece had a starting price of N9m and was bid for by the well-heeled audience.

The winning bid of N52.1m was won by an unknown individual who the auctioneer said did not want his/her identity disclosed.

No Nigerian musician till date has sold any item in the realm of that figure, and it will take a long time before this record is broken.
