Paul Okoye has
bought an exact half of shares of Tripple
MG record label,
formerly co-owned by Ubi Franklin and Iyanya.
This comes after Iyanya left MMMG for Don Jazzy‘s Mavin
Records with claims stating that he needed someone who understands the music
industry and will help fulfill his dreams.
According to TheCable reports, Ubi has transferred 50% shares
(formerly owned by Iyanya) to the billionaire CEO of Upfront and Personal, a management and
consultancy outfit.
He told TheCable that he bought Iyanya’s share when the singer
left for Mavin Records in
August 2016.
“When Iyanya was
leaving, I bought over his shares so I owned 100% of the company so I sold
those shares to Paul Okoye of Upfront and Personal,” he said.
“Paul Okoye Now Owns Part Of MMMG,” Franklin Added.
