According to Sky sources, West
Ham have made an improved bid of £5m for Hull city midfielder Robert
Snodgrass. The Hammers had initially made a bid of £3m for the Scotland
international, but this was
rejected by Hull on Friday.
As reported
by Sky sources in December, Snodgrass has rejected the offer of an
improved deal at Hull and is out of contract at
the end of the season. Snodgrass, 29, has been a key performer for
Hull this season despite the club's troubles, registering seven goals
and two assists. New Tigers manager Marco
Silva started the Scot in the club's EFL Cup semi-final first leg against Manchester United at Old Trafford on
Tuesday.
Hull sit
bottom of the Premier League having won only three games this campaign and are
without a win in the division for nine fixtures. Hull next face Bournemouth in a crucial clash at the
KCOM on Saturday.
