#AHMusicReview: Absolute Hearts Music Review

It is the best music review in Africa Absolute Hearts Music Review and today we are here to serve you with the latest songs coming out from our beautiful continent. Without further ado this are the songs we have for you this week:

1.      Pasuma -Kowale: I have said this over time and I would continue to say it, Pasuma is one artiste that I respect a lot not only because he has been in the game for long but any time he decides to switch to hip hop the Fuji maestro doesn’t disappoint and for that I throw salute. Kowale is another brilliant song from Pasuma who we hear is planning to release his second Hip Hop album. The rating would be 7/10.

2.      Johnny Drille –Dear Future Wife: This are those 8/10 song that might not go far but will definitely last forever. Johnny Drille really redefined what alternative songs in Nigeria should sound like with this song, the genre of this song isn’t the usual Nigerian kinda song, it’s what the white would call House music or Country music. Brilliant song from a brilliant singer/producer and I have to say this is, this is a must have song if your truly like good music.

3.      KLY x DJ-Maphorisa ft Emtee x Patoranking - Snapdatsh*t Remix: I appeal to those South Africans that were involved in the Xenophobic attacks, good things happen when both country work hand in hand and this song is an example of that. If our artiste can work together and do something wonderful so can an ordinary Nigerian and South African do something wonderful, let's stop the killing and try to live as one. The rating for this song would be 8/10.

4.      A Q –My President Is Sick: Brilliant song from a brilliant rapper. AQ decided to address the issues facing the country in the best way he could and he killed it. No doubt our country is sick unfortunately our president isn’t in good health also. The rating of this song would be 9/10.

5.      Timaya –Pity 4 Us: If there is one thing Timaya has been since the beginning of this year, it is the fact that he has been consistent and this time around he has also voiced his opinion about the current situation in the economy. Pity 4 Us is a song that talks about the suffering of Nigerians and Timaya is appealing to the politicians to show some mercy and make the life of the masses better. The rating would be 9/10.

6.      Durella ft Stormy -Lori Titi: Yes the King of the Zanga is back. Lori Titi is a typical classic Durella kind of song and I think the industry has missed the Durella sound. This is a song that would definitely go far because it’s already enjoying much airplays. The rating would be 8/10.

7.      Tidinz – 7 Akus (Men-2): I heard about this guy last year in December. Immediately I heard that song Mpandia I fell in love with him. Tidinz at the moment is one if not the best rapper to come out of the east and this song proves that. The rating of this song would be 8/10.

8.      Mr Raw -Bongo: Mr Raw kick starts the year with another jam after enjoying a decent 2016, the Abia represental isn’t slowing down and Bongo is another decent track from the raw nigga. The rating would be 8/10.

9.      Korede Bello Ft. Kelly Rowland – Do Like That (Remix): Nobody saw this coming but as we await the release of his Belloved album Korede Bello decided to wet our appetite with a brilliant remix to his previous hit single Do Like That. This remix is another hit on its own and it features Kelly Rowland. The rating without any doubt would be a 9/10. If I may add this, this might be Korede Bello biggest song after Godwin.

10.  Terry Apala - Social Media: Terry Apala had a very decent 2016 and he wants to keep that momentum going this 2017 as he just released another decent song titled Social Media, the rating would be 8/10.
