EFCC raids home of former NNPC boss, recovers $9.3m and £72,000 cash

Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes commission raided the home of a former managing director to NNPC, Andrew Yakubu, in Kaduna and found $9.3m and £72,000. Yakubu, who served as the NNPC boss from 2012 to 2014 under former president Goodluck Jonathan's administration, was arraigned by the anti-graft agency in June 2016 on allegations of money laundering.
