Ranieri To Rest Key Player Against Vs Derby FA Cup Replay

 

Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi, could miss Leicester City's FA Cup fourth round replay against Championship club, Derby County at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday as Claudio Ranieri plans to shuffle his squad.

Since joining Leicester from Belgian Jupiler club, KRC Genk, in the January transfer window, Ndidi has appeared five times for the Premier League champions, while Musa has featured 18 times, scoring two goals.

Speaking ahead of Wednesday's replay following a 2-2 draw in the first meeting, Ranieri reveals that he plans to give players who have seen little playing time a chance. 

He said “I have to protect some players who need to recover and rest. Also, I want to give the opportunity to the other players”
