We Had To Dig Deep And I Am Glad –West Brom Tony Pulis

West Brom manager Tony Pulis said he is pleased with his side's comeback as they came from behind to beat Bournemouth 2-1 on Saturday. The Baggies were behind thanks to Josh King's fifth-minute penalty after Allan Nyom fouled Ryan Fraser in the penalty area.

Goals from Craig Dawson and Gareth McAuley completed the turnaround, handing the Baggies a fourth straight league win at The Hawthorns, and Pulis was full of praise for his side's spirit.

He said “We responded with two good goals that we are really pleased with, they showed great spirit. We showed that when we had to dig in and work hard off the ball, we do it. That's what the players are. You try to get a team ethic and make sure they work hard together as a group and there are not many times this year when they've not done that. We've lost games but they've always been pretty tight and together.”
