David Harbour May Play Cable In Deadpool 2

 

David Harbour who played the role of Chief Jim Hopper on the Netflix series Stranger Things, is being eyed to play the role of Cable in Deadpool 2. 20th Century Fox has already screen tested the actor, but no decision has been made just yet.

This news comes hot on the heels of both Russell Crowe and Pierce Brosnan being linked to the highly sought after part as well, but at this point, it’s unclear who the frontrunner may be assuming the latter two are actually being considered, that is.

With the casting process heating up now, we hopefully don’t have too much longer to wait before Fox comes to a decision. The film is expected to head into production this spring, so they need to choose someone sooner rather than later. As such, we imagine it’ll be only a matter of weeks now before we get something official.
