United maintained their leadership of the Nigeria
Professional Football League table after an impressive 2-0 win against Kano Pillars at the Rwang Pam Stadium,
Jos on Sunday.
A goal in each half from Ibeh Johnson and Elisha
Golbe in the 15th and 55th minutes sealed the win for Plateau United. The
victory was Plateau’s sixth at the Rwang Pam Stadium this season, it was
Pillars’ first defeat in their last six games, after three wins and two draws.

Osho recorded his first win after six games as struggling Remo Stars beat ABS 3-0 to deny the Ilorin-based club back-to-back wins for the
first time this season. Remo’s three goals were scored by Ekene Awazie, Salefu Ochowechi and Saheed Lasisi in the seventh, 61st and 87th minutes respectively. The
win takes Remo off the bottom of the log above Wikki Tourists.
