With his strike against Stoke, Philippe Coutinho became the top Brazilian scorer in Premier League history. The Reds ace drew level with Juninho with his 29th goal of his Premier League career against Bournemouth in midweek and netted his record breaking 30th with a drilled finish at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.
Juninho, who had three spells with Middlesbrough, scored 29 times in 125 league appearances, seven games fewer than Coutinho. How long Coutinho holds the record remains to be seen - his team-mate Roberto Firmino, who has racked up an impressive 20 goals in 61 league games for the Reds, will also have the landmark in his sights.
Other notable names in the top 10 Brazil hotshots in Premier League history are Chelsea midfielder Willian and former club team-mates Oscar and Ramires, as well as former Man City forward Robinho.
