David Moyes Promises To Stay On As Sunderland Manager

David Moyes has said that he won’t abandon his post as Sunderland manager as he promises to lead the club back into the Premier League. The Black Cats' 10-year stay in the top flight came to an end after a 1-0 home defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday.

Moyes was appointed last summer and has faced criticism from some fans after just five wins this season.

He said “I would like to make sure we get Sunderland back in the Premier League that's for sure. I think the job is to make sure we try to get ourselves prepared and ready. We are just in this position so to think about it now is too quick.”
