Ndidi Is Not For Sale - Shakespeare

Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare is not worried the Foxes could lose their Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi this summer. Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea as well as Manchester United, according to reports, have all shown interest in signing the 20-year-old Nigerian international who joined from Genk in January for £15m.

Ndidi scored a thunderous 25-yard strike to help his side secure a fourth consecutive win for Craig Shakespeare who became only the fifth manager to win his first four Premier League matches as the champions defeated Stoke City 2-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

He said “No problem with speculation. We have our best players tied down. There can always be bids, we can turn them down, I hope he is here for a long time. He's under a long-term contract. We want to keep our best players. He is one of them. We're always reluctant to put much pressure on young players. But he is tailor made for the Premier League.”
