Kelechi Iheanacho will soon complete
his move to Leicester City from Manchester City as a picture emerged on
Twitter on Tuesday showing the 20-year-old having his medical tests in a
Leicester City shirt.
There
were reports earlier in the day that there had been a breakthrough in
negotiations for the move with the Super Eagles star scheduled to have his
medical. It now appears that that medical has been done with just some
paperwork left to complete the switch believed to be worth around £25 million.
Iheanacho
joined Manchester City after excelling at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2013 and
was one of the club's best players in the 2015/2016 despite having limited
playing time under Manuel Pellegrini.
Iheanacho
was linked with a move to West Ham
and other Premier League clubs before Leicester, the 2016 English champions who
parade Nigerians Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi, stepped in.
