#AHMusicReview: Reviewing songs released by African artistes in the last 7 days

The best music review in Africa is back and without any further ado let's serve you with the hot music we are reviewing on this week's episode of Absolute Hearts Music Review.
1.      Small Doctor -This Year: Its official, the year has come to an end for Small Doctor has he dropped this new street song to begin the end of the year celebration and his expectation for next year. This Year is another decent tracking coming from the Omo Iya Teacher himself and the rating will be 8/10.

2.      Shizzi ft. Jay Moore x L.A. X - Maria: One of the most talented producers in Nigeria who has also been majorly responsible for all Davido’s hit songs and Olamide Who You Epp, Shizzi, teams up with Jay Moore and L.A.X to give us this song titled Maria. As expected the production of this song is super dope and of course Jay-Moore x L.A. X came through on the song as the rating will be 9/10.

3.      Harrysong - Ele: Pardon me but the beat of this song is brain bursting oh gosh, this is contagious as this song will keep you on your feet from the beginning to the end. Harrysong really hit us hard with this one he titled Ele, I don’t know if it’s the song or just me but Harry sounds really different on this. The rating of this Dalorbeatz produced song will be a perfect 10.

4.      Wizkid ft. Mut4Y - Manya: The best West African artiste according to the just recently concluded AFRIMA, Wizkid, returns with another song and on this song he features producer Mut4Y (Legendary Beatz). Manya is a different kind of highlife song with a super production coming from Killertunes though with some familiar line. The rating will be 7/10.

5.      Shatta Wale - Dancehall-Landlord: The beef between Nigeria and Ghana has taken another turn as Ghanaian dancehall act Shatta Wale has release a diss track for Timaya and Patoranking. Still not clear the cause of this beef but one thing is clear Shatta is ready to fire anybody that cross him as he also release another diss track for Wizkid which he titled Disaster saying he doesn’t see Wizkid as a superstar. The rating for this song is 8/10.

6.      Reminisce - Do You Feel It: Just when I thought Ponmile was Reminisce' best song this year, then Do You Feel It comes out of nowhere. Though he claims this is just a freestyle but this song is just too hot, the production itself is fire, if this song was released earlier no doubt it would have qualified for song of the year but this is definitely a December turn up song and will get you dancing till next year, no doubt about it. The C-mart produced song will have a 10/10 rating.

7.      Rudeboy -Nkenji-Keke x Fire-Fire: Well if you still haven’t gotten the gist, this should set your straight, Brothers of the pop duo, Psqaure, are not more together as the twin brothers have started their solo career and today we present to you two songs from Rudeboy (Paul Okoye). Nkenji-Keke x Fire-Fire are two decent songs with lovely production and also a nice way to start of a solo career as both will have an 8/10 each.

8.      Vector ft. Samklef x DJ Magnum - Alhaji: No offence here but this is the best produced song I have heard from Samklef in a very long while as he combine forces with Mr. Lafiaji himself Vector and DJ Magnum and together they gave us this 9/10 song titled Alhaji.

9.      Vanessa Mdee ft. Maua Sama x Tommy Flava - Bounce: On a hook inspired by Kevin Little's Bounce Along, Tanzania singer Vanessa Mdee brings us this decent track titled Bounce and on this one she features Maua Sama x Tommy Flava and the rating will be 8/10.

10.  Mr Eazi - Pour Me Water: On an E.Kelly produced beat Mr Eazi returns with another decent song titled Pour Me Water and I have to say not a bad effort from Eazi but at the same time not a great effort either. The rating will be 8/10.

11.  Efe - I Love You: Whether we like it or not Efe is here to stay, that is the message the Big Brother Naija 2017 winner is passing as he continues to dish out singles after singles and this time around he came through with another song titled I Love You and the rating will be 8/10.

12.  Ycee – I Wish: I am not trying to start a beef here but I have a feeling that AFRIMA's Best Artist in African Hip Hop Ycee threw some shades at M.I on this track. Like he said this is real rap for the real fans and Ycee really came in strong on this dope rap song titled I Wish. Been a while we heard Ycee going all hip hop on us but that what he did on this song and the rating will be 9/10 and this song was produced by BeatsbyKarma.

13.  Pepenazi ft. Olamide - Afrobeat: Pepenazi returns with another decent song titled Afrobeat and the Young John produced song features Olamide and the rating will be 8/10.

14.  Sarkodie ft. Kelvynboy x Strongman - Didi: Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie is back with another song and on this one he features Kelvynboy x Strongman and titled this on Didi. It is hard to believe that who Sark just released an album recently could come out with another track but as the rapper as continued to dish out new singles you can tell he is not slowing down any time soon. The rating of this song will be 8/10.

15.  Tekno ft. Wizkid - Mama: I have to be honest without Wizkid on this song Tekno would've had this song on a lock down, beautiful song and with super dope production coming from him and adding Wizkid to the song just makes it more dope. Mama will have a rating of 9/10
