Lagos Police Commissioner declares Burna Boy wanted in connection to Mr 2Kay robbery

The Lagos State Police Commissioner, Edgar Imohimi on Monday declared pop star Burna Boy wanted in the case of armed robbery that saw Mr 2Kay brutally attacked in his Eko Hotel room shortly after his performance at 2Baba’s BuckwyldnBreathless concert.

At a press conference where he updated the public on the findings of the police so far, revealed that the suspects arrested after investigations confessed that they were paid N100,000 by Burna Boy (real name  Damini Ogulu) to attack Mr 2Kay and teach him a lesson.

The Port Harcourt born singer was then attacked, robbed of his possessions he says are valued at 12 million naira and beaten severely.

Commissioner Imohmi then called for Burna Boy to report himself to the closest police station as he could not be found in his house for questioning.

It is not clear what the beef is between the two artistes and neither has been available to speak on the phone. However, an anonymous source describes it as a lingering resentment from when both men lived in London. Also, Burna Boy was previously banned from entering the UK as a result of juvenile gang activity when he lived in that country. He was convicted as a minor but the fifteen year ban was lifted after only five.
