The
Flash executive producer Andrew
Kreisberg has come out to clear the doubt of fans concerning the appearance
of Wally West (Kid Flash) in the season The Flash. According to him his return
will come as soon as the episode set to air November 21.
One possibility for Wally’s brief absence may be due to budgetary reasons. After all, this week’s episode saw the introduction of one Ralph Dibny, and those elongated effects probably cost a pretty penny.
Kreisberg said “It’s difficult having two speedsters on the show, just creatively and financially. There are a lot of times where either Barry had to get knocked out so Wally could save the day, or Wally had to get knocked out so Barry could save the day — and just knocking them out, that costs a lot. But Wally is not gone. Wally is not gone, certainly, from the Arrowverse, and he’ll be back on Flash, and more exciting stuff about Wally will be revealed as we move forward.”
The Flash airs on Tuesday nights on The CW.
