We have learnt our lesson lessons - D'Tigers' captain Ike Diogu on Commonwealth poor performance

Following Nigeria’s men’s basketball team D’Tigers poor performance at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia, captain of the team Ike Diogu has said they have all learnt from the competition.
The Nigerians lost their first game to New Zealand, second to Canada and final group game to Australia.  The life line given to the team to also have the opportunity to feature in the semi-finals was also bungled as they lost to Scotland to end their participation in the 2018 edition of the Commonwealth Games.

He said “It was a tough tournament for everyone on the team, losing all the games was not expected but we have seen a lot and also learnt from that, the guys were not happy because we knew the expectation back home and I can only say we learnt from that and will do better in future.”
