#AHMusicReview: Davido, Olamide and others on this week's music review

Yes we are back with all the latest songs released across the continent during the course of the week and without wasting much of your time let’s dive into what we have today.

1.      Duncan Mighty ft. Wizkid - Fake Love: After teasing fans with this unexpected collaboration, the true king of the south and Port Harcourt first son, Duncan Mighty drops his first song for the year and he features one of the rave of the moment Starboy Wizkid and together they gave us a brilliant song titled Fake Love. As produced by Killertunes this is one jam that will definitely get massive airplay. The rating will be 8/10.

2.      CDQ ft. Phyno x Reminisce - Aye (Life): I have said this before and I would say it again, CDQ should be given some accolades, the NSNS frontrunner has been on top of his game he isn’t relenting. Featuring Phyno and Reminisce, the indigenous rapper comes through with a brilliant rap song titled Aye and I have to say this is rap at its finest, all three rappers killed this song and if you are a true fan of rap this song should be added to your play list. The rating will be 8/10

3.      Sess ft. Reminisce x Adekunle Gold - Original Gangstar: I really hope this is the year of true hip hop in Nigeria because the amount of rap music we have had in the last couple of months has been encouraging and we ain’t even through yet. As we prepare for the release of Adekunle Gold's new album (About 30), the singer jumps on this Sess owned and produced song titled Original Gangstar and all I can say is wow, never knew Adekunle can be sure a gangster on a hook like this and of course Reminisce shows us why nobody can mess with him when it comes to true Ibile hip hop. Big ups to Sess as he also came through on the production of this song as the rating will be 8/10. Another hip hop track that should be added to your playlist

4.      Olamide ft. Wizkid - Kana: As produced by Mut4y of Legendaury beatz, Olamide drops another smash single and as expected when two of the best and powerful artistes in Nigeria join forces, you expect nothing but hits and this is a hit song that will be on everyone's lips for now, at least probably till we have another Olamide or Wizkid song. Everything about this song is just dope, the calmness, the mature sounds and of course the top notch production  though once again this beat sounds very familiar too bad I can’t just place it, maybe it’s just my hear but I doubt it. The rating will be 9/10.

5.      Dammy Krane ft. Kayswitch - Ori: Whether we like it or not Dammy Krane is here to stay as he is here with another single. Just so you know Dammy Krane as drops so many singles this year than he has dropped in the last two years. On this decent effort titled Ori he features Kayswitch and the rating for this one will be 7/10.

6.      Saeon - Moruda Adura: One of the very few real female rappers that we have in the country is back after taking a little break and on this brilliant produced hip hop track from Sess, Saeon shows us why she is the realest  female rapper we have out there. She killed it on this one and for the hip hop fans this is another song that should go straight into your playlist. The rating will be 8/10.

7.      Davido - Assurance: Before this song dropped, Davido said the song will be the biggest song of the year and just 24hrs after releasing the video, it hits more than 1 million views on Youtube, I guess he wasn’t just 'making mouth'. Without any doubt this is the biggest song in the country at the moment and unless you are leaving under the rock I am sure you know why this song has continued to be this strong. Not to take anything away from this song, this is another brilliant song coming from Davido and the production credit goes to SperoachBeatz as the rating will be 9/10.

8.      Slimcase - Bend Down: One thing I am glad about this song is that, it's less noisy in terms of production because that will have made this song worst. I have heard very decent verses and even hooks from Slimcase but this song in total is a no no for me, though I have the believe probably this is one of the songs he recorded before blowing up, so I will be nice with my rating and give it 4/10.

9.      D’Banj - Action: The koko master is back and this time he jumps track produced by Pheelz Mr Producer titled Action and  he gives us a very decent effort as he continues to give us this new D’Banj vibes we have come to like. The rating will be 7/10.
