Tems goes on hunger strike in Uganda

Nigerian singer, Tems has gone on hunger strike after being arrested alongside Omah Lay in Uganda. 

The Nigerians singers were arrested and charged with "negligently doing acts likely to spread infectious diseases" after performing in a show in the country. While Omah Lay was taken to Kitalya prison, Tems was taken to Kigo prison.

In a video from the court proceeding on Monday December 14, Tems was seen having a conversation with female Ugandan official.
