Injured Remy Returns To Chelsea

 
Loic Remy has returned to Chelsea to receive treatment after sustaining an injury whilst on loan at Crystal Palace. The 29years old, who is yet to feature in the Premier League this season, suffered a thigh injury during a training session on Monday.

Ronaldo missed Madrid's first two league games of the season and their European Super Cup win over Sevilla while recovering from a knee injury he sustained playing in the Euro 2016 final for Portugal.

Transfer Ban: Real Madrid And Atletico Madrid Lose Appeals

 
Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have lost their appeals against one-year transfer bans by FIFA for breaking rules protecting underage players. Both clubs were punished by FIFA's disciplinary committee in January for breaching regulations governing the transfer of players under the age of 18, but appealed the decision. The bans were later frozen pending the appeals verdicts.

Charlie Cox Enjoying His Partnership With Iron Fist

 

Having inked a deal to reprise the role of Matt Murdock for a third season of Daredevil, coupled with the advent of next year’s Defenders series, Charlie Cox’s future in Marvel’s TV universe is looking bright. Bringing a compelling sense of gravity to the Man Without Fear, Cox has certainly impressed in the title role, but beyond his friendship with Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple, we haven’t really seen Murdock’s stoic lead interact with any Marvel characters outside of Daredevil. Unlike, say, Jessica Jones, who holds an on-again, off-again relationship with Mike Colter’s Luke Cage.

According to report, the studio is firmly committed to getting the long-in-development threequel back on track, courting both Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson to saddle up for another crowd-pleasing blend of Western and kung fu action. The Independent National Electoral Commission has agreed to shift the Edo State governorship election by two weeks. The decision to postpone the election was reached at a security meeting held in Benin, the Edo State capital this evening.

Late Abubakar Audu’s son arrested by Police

Mohammed Audu, a son of the late Governor of Kogi State, Abubakar Audu, has been arrested by the police.
A family member said Mohammed and about 15 other family members were arrested Wednesday and are being detained at the Lokoja Police Division and also said the Audu family believes the arrests were “ordered” by Governor Yahaya Bello.

News On Deathstroke Returning To Arrow

 
The villain played a key role in the second season of Arrow, but has since only made one brief appearance in The CW drama. Bear in mind that it’s previously been reported that Amanda Waller and the Suicide Squad vanished from Arrow because of Warner Bros.’ big screen plans for the characters, but the prospect of Manu Bennett not being able to reprise the role of Deathstroke in this world is definitely a major disappointment.
