Super Eagles stars going after Nollywood stars

The Super Eagles captain, prior to being married was alleged to have enjoyed sizzlingrelationships with the trio of beautiful Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari, Genevieve Nnaji and Uche Iwuji before getting hooked to ex-beauty queen and step daughter of former football star John Fashanu, Adaeze Igwe. Rumours were flying then that the actresses were often sighted at the palatial Liverpool home of the former Everton defender separately. Yobo would later rubbish the report of having romantic relationship with any of the said actresses let alone coming to his private residence in England. The 32-year-old has been rated as one of Nigeria and Africa’s highest paid footballers after sealing a three year deal that reportedlyworth $10 million(about N1.6 billion) alongside an entitlement of $1 million bonus yearly, with his Turkish club.In total Yobo pockets about 2.5 million Euros annually.Little wonder babes have been accused of hunting for the former Olympic Marseille centre back.
Ekanem
It is no longer news that the love affair which existed between the erstwhile Super Eagles midfielder and former actress Caroline Ekanem was a talk of the town.The two love birds did not hide their romance as they were often seen hanging out at popular Lagos night clubs and public occasions. Shortly after the relationship packed up,Ekanem got married to shipping magnateand billionaire business man,Musa Danjuma.Apart from Ekanem, the one time Polonia Warsaw and Aris Salonica midfield commander was also alleged to have dated Ini Edo and other Nollywood actresses.


Ogbonna Kanu
Ogbonna , a member of the Super Eagles squad that participated at the 2002 Korea/ Japan World Cup is the younger brother to former
Nigerian captain Nwankwo Kanu. His love affair with Nollywood actress Ebube Nwagbokept tongues wagging that it attracted media headlines across the country, before itfinally crashed amid controversies and unpalatable tales. Ebube later blamed the Nigeria media for destroying their relationship.


Ike Uche
culledThe Villarreal striker and renowned Nollywood actress Uche Jombo, was gathered courted for ten good years. Like hisnational teammates, Uche was quick to dismiss the rumour while it was spreading round the town. Though the ex-Getafe goal king did his best to keep the romance secret,the rumour was laid to rest when the sultry actress stormed Spain to see her lover boy inthe hospital after he sustained an injury during the Spanish La Liga. Sources close to the Spain based ace said in appreciation of Jumbo’s faithfulness and emotional care all through the relationship, he engaged the Abia born actress with a diamond ring which she flaunted then.
The talk of the town affair suddenly went sour to the chagrin of their admirers and close asociates. Jombo got married to her Puerto Rican boy friend in May, moved on with his relationship to US based Ruth Okoro.
