Top 5 Young Artistes That Must Make It Big This Year

Nothing stops you when your music is "unique" and it stands out enough to differentiate you from everyone else in the saturated industry. This young artistes have shown that they are very ready to take the center stage and dance to the tune. They are young artistes you should definitely watch out for this 2015.

1. Simi
If you think Asa and Nneka have it all, then Simi is the combination of both. Amazing vocalist and singer! She leaves you with a picture so clear when she sings that it takes you through a spiritual healing that you can't help but keep hitting the replay button. Simi's gentle and African voice gives you the richness in African 'Pop' and 'Soul' Music. Her EP 'Restless' that she dropped in 2014 shows her music might even when she seems like the 'next door' girl. Though she has been in the game for long but 2015 is definitely her year.

2. Olawale
Winner of popular Project fame season 6.  With songs like 'Jupa' 'Follow me ft Lil kesh' , 'Love Me ft Tiwa Savage' and 'Get It ft Skales',  Olawale made it known in his debut album that he is a good song writer and he is ready to create his own space in the industry. He already knows what he wants to offer to music lovers and it's obvious they are ready to accept him more in 2015. Don't be surprise if he becomes the new King of RnB in Nigeria.

3. Reekado Banks
Ever imagined what 'Dorobucci' would have been without Reekado? This is one artiste I believe Don Jazzy will never regret signing to Mavins Record. Reekado displays that strength, talent and uniqueness every good artiste requires. And just like Wande Coal in the early days of the defunct MoHits, Reekado is an investment that will certainly bring good returns. Already built his grounds in 2014, Reekado Banks is sure of getting us busy this 2015.

4. May Shua
Now this is another young versatile artiste that will definitely rock your 2015. She calls herself 'Naija's Best Rapping Shawteey'. Her beauty compliments her style. Mostly known as a rapper but caught the industry unawares when she unpredictably switched up her style to street pop in her recent single 'Yeghe'. May Shua is not just an artiste, she is an entertainer. Have you seen her performing on stage? She delivers with lots of energy and vibe.

5. Gil
Gil Joe represents what I call the 'New Skool Gospel'. He doubles up as an artiste and a producer. His combination of Hip Hop(Rap), Rock and Jazz to his music gives him that exclusive acceptance by all Gospel Music Lovers. Already winning the heart of young Christians , Gil is creating a new sound along with a strong message of living a life of a christian with swag. Just like how his label boss , Frank Edward gave gospel music a new face in Nigeria with his style of music, Gil is about to take it to another level.
