Sharks Gets Shirt Sponsorship

Sharks FC of Port Harcourt have signed a shirt sponsorship deal with petro-chemical products company Eunisell at a ceremony in Lagos.

The Port Harcourt based club who reached an agreement with Eunisell as their new shirt sponsors would wear the newly branded shirts when the Nigeria Professional Football League resumes from its break.

Eunisell's Group Managing Director, Chika Ikenga had this to say at the ceremony which took place at Sheraton in Victoria Island “Today belongs to Sharks, today belongs to the progress of Nigerian football, why should anybody come support you? You need to be able to market your business and you will be amazed the kind of support you will get.”

Sources say that one of the reasons why Ikenga gave the decision to support Sharks is because his son is an ardent fan of the club and follows the domestic league passionate. Ikenga also said that they started discussions with Sharks when they met at the Social Media Week Football Day in Lagos as he was impressed that some club officials decided to show up.

Club captain Odinga Odinga and striker Christian Pyagbara were the first to model the shirts after the presentation to the media.
